Is spinrite still an option in todays world?
In todays world of 6Gbps SATA 2TB+ drives is spinrite still a good tool to use to check drives? I have a laptop that keeps freezing, I've ran it through a EuroSoft PCCHECK (v6.05) and all is clear....

i believe it is still relevant, manufacturer test will probably be run too, and i think most places in order to have a hard drive replaced require you to run that test for them and submit the results....
